Theresa Woollard holds a B.S. in Early Childhood and a M.A.T. in Elementary Education. She has experience in kindergarten, pre-kindergarten, and teaching 3 year olds in a preschool setting. In addition to teaching preschool, she also is an adjunct instructor at the University of Mount Olive in the Early Childhood Education department. Theresa is an Onslow County native who is no stranger to moving; spending 15+ years as a military spouse. She and her husband, who is now retired, have three girls, including a set of identical twins. Theresa believes that all children are curious about the world around them, which provides opportunities for them to learn and grow so much in the early childhood years. She feels blessed to be able to be a part of the preschool experience, which lays the foundation for a life-long love of learning.
Vickie Queen has 30 years experience working in early childhood and special needs classrooms as a teaching assistant. She finds it very gratifying helping children grow and develop a love of learning. Vickie has 3 daughters, 4 awesome active grandsons and a big fluffy goldendoodle. She loves spending time with her grandsons. She believes every child can learn, given the opportunity to learn in their own unique style. She loves to see the smiles and celebrates with each child as they experience their own individual successes!
Susanne Nelson taught school for 32 years in Winston-Salem, 28 of those years in kindergarten. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. Susanne is the proud mom of a son, Brett and a daughter, Erin, two wonderful in-laws and five awesome grandchildren. She loves helping children to learn, grow, and feel happy about themselves. Working with children is the most rewarding job she can imagine!
Erin Batts is a former Special Education teacher. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English as well as a teaching license in Special Education. Erin has 2 young boys who are sweet, affectionate, and rambunctious! She has a passion for reading and believes a strong foundation in phonics will help her students be successful throughout their school years.
